What You Will Learn
Microfinance is the most interesting investment vehicle in the world for both philanthropists and impact investors alike. On this trip you will get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek into a real microfinance operation that serves thousands of clients per year in Uganda’s poorest slums. You’ll explore a variety of markets, learn about investment opportunities, and witness the immediate, lasting impact that loans as small as $25 can do for people in extreme poverty.
Group Activities
Four days of learning about microfinance in Uganda's poorest slums.
Two days of volunteering, teaching, and playing at Moses' school.
Culture shows, dance, and music performaces put on by students.
Classic game drive and Nile River cruise safaris.
Take a walk through a zebra and rhino sanctuary.
White water raft on the Nile River's Class V rapids (optional).
Track chimpanzees through the African jungle (optional).

Moses is the CEO of Muvule Financing Ltd, our partner organization in Uganda. He has been a professional travel guide for over a decade with dozens of five-star reviews.
